I feel a bit bad for the kid, but his dad brought it on.
Sorry, I disagree. What happened tonight was the BEST thing ever happened to him, hopefully he will benefit from the experience. He will really learn a lesson in life if he goes into 3rd round, God willing, I am praying that he does. He will come out a much better person and player if he becomes a 3rd rounder.

He can either be humbled by this, or he can be bitter and decide that the NFL "owes him". We'll see. It certainly means something when every team passes on you.

Deon Sanders is attacking and calling the broadcaster names after his son wasn't drafted in round 1. Note to all HCs and GMs in the league: This shall be coming at you for years and years after you drafted Shedeur Sanders.

Don't we need a sixth quarterback?

Hypothetically if Shedeur Sanders was there when we draft next year, would you take him?
Would you overlook his dad’s mega personality?
Do you draft gurus think he is a generational talent?
IMO...NONE of the above noted matter.

Dad
Draft Gurus
Generational Talent

What does matter is the tape and the Powers that Be and scouts to address is *potential* at the position on the field,

the work ethic and the maturity.

I am very suspect of not only all first round QB picks (SS didn't get picked today) but all 2nd round QB picks and so on.

The QB draft pick is wildly unpredictable even by the "smartest guys in the room" at the NFL teams.

That said, SS may be a great NFL QB.

But like every other QB drafted....we have to wait and see.

Deion is still dumb.

And his son will pay the price.

With his flash of bling I assume it came from his dad's influence.

At Tofee notes, what GM, HC and team and fanbase would want to import this sh*t onto their team?

One win against a ranked team in his college career. If he didn't have the Sanders name no one would mention him much. GM's can be dumb, but not that dumb. In any other year Cam Ward is probably a 2nd round pick as well.
