I'm not going to dismiss Grant. I get the appeal of him. Big, powerful, athletic.

He's not my favorite first round pick. The team might pick him and I think there is a role for him.

However, he doesn't have the best production. He's going to have to test in some area really well.

There is a lot of meat on the bones feeling if the team ends up with Grant in the first round for me. I wouldn't be shocked or mad at it though.

I get that he's not everyone's cup of tea. He's not my favorite pick, but I just have a feeling he's gonna be the pick. I wouldn't be mad at it, this team needs a NT to free up Murphy, and I think a combo of Leo, Murphy, and Grant would be mighty appealing.

I don't know. They just re-signed Jarran Reed to a decent contract. He's starting. I think they feel really comfortable with Murphy at NT.

I'm just using the last 3 drafts as a measuring stick.
- Charles Cross
- Devon Witherspoon
- Jaxon Smith Njigba
- Byron Murphy

Everyone had really good to elite production at some point in their college careers. They have to be clean in terms of football character and personal character as a human being.

I don't think Grant is a bad person nor have we heard major rumblings about his work ethic. He doesn't always show a constant motor on tape though. It can run hot and cold at times.

The biggest thing for was the production. He was still inconsistent during his time at Michigan. Again, I wouldn't be shocked or mad. I just don't see how he screams Seahawks.

I like the 1st mock more but I like both. I've made no secret about my crush on Kenneth Grant. Someone of his size is the missing piece on this defense. He's regarded as one of the top "freaks" of this draft, not just at NT but all positions. His production is a little worrisome, especially playing next to Mason Graham but I believe MM and Durde can unlock him. Great character guy.

If we don't take Dart then Ewers is my next QB from this class.

Higgins would be a great compliment to JSN, he'd be my 2nd or 3rd WR. Golden 1st and then I flip flop between Higgins and Tre Harris who's 2nd.

Both drafts I would be happy with though. Nicely done.

The same can be said for DE Shemar Stewart. Physical traits and the testing but zero production. Those guys always kind of scare me.

Not using your first two picks on IOL in either scenario is an incredibly accurate Seahawks mock draft. Good job.

Liked the 1st mock draft better. I kind of have the feeling they'll go defense heavy in this draft, tbh. Hope to be proven wrong.
