Apparently we picked Damien Lewis a couple picks before this guy and some questioned that. For those who like to claim JS doesn't know how to pick lineman Damien Lewis has been miles better. And now we have him bargain basement hunting.

Jones 27 probably not a starter but has played every position except center. Nice depth guy for a bit under 5M. We needed a swing tackle and he can fill in at both guard spots too. Nice signing.
Now go get Fries.

Damien Lewis was a good pick for that draft. He's also probably the best guard JS has drafted.

Yep. Another 1-year wonder on a budget with a 43.2 PFF grade. JS sitting back thinking he nailed it and the OL is now good to go.

I don’t trust JS to select a guard. Pay Fries and spend a high pick on someone like Ratledge. Quit looking for cheap band aids that are no different than what you’ve continually had to rip off the wound the last number of years.
