Thought GB was offering a first and a player? That got my hopes up. A second is kind of a buzz kill. Still not worth allocating so much $$ in that one player.

My first immediate thought is these picks could be used to move up for Jaxson Dart if they wanna lock him down. Either way, all this draft capital should be used to shore up the problem areas we have but Schneider, atleast in the Pete Carroll era didn't really go after needs a lot of the time and neglected the line.

A second for a receiver of his caliber is beyond fantastic

Spotrac is reporting his new contract as…

D.K. Metcalf signed a 4 year, $132,000,000 contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, including an average annual salary of $33,000,000. In 2025, Metcalf will earn a base salary of $18,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $18,000,000.

So basically he keeps his current salary and gets a 4 year extension. Average is $30 per year but the new contract is $33

I believe Geno was worth a 4th and DK a 3rd, and am pleasantly surprised that JS got value. I've been down on JS for years, but if he can finally fix the OL I'll go neutral on him. If the Seahawks don't have a top 12 OL at the end of the 2025 season, JS needs to go.

Again, I’m curious to see what the late round swap of pics was because I didn’t see that the Steelers had a six round pick. Did we trade our sixth for their seventh?
