Not happy about this, but I hope it works out for him. :(
I am with you on this one. Metcalf with Pickens is going to be a tough combo to match up against for many AFC teams. Hard to replace Metcalf's physicality which is why the Seahawks offense is probably going to be a ground and pound oriented offense now.

Well... damn. Knew he was gone already, but still. Was holding onto a sliver of hope.

Feel like this off-season got real nuts, real fast.

When they say flip picks do they mean we get their 6th and they get our 7th or swapping picks within the rounds? What was their position, better than ours?

Thank You DK!!!
You produced on a yearly basis despite what many think but you weren’t worth $150 mil. Let’s be real here. I applaud John Schneider for shedding the cap hit and acquiring another high end pick. Brilliant move in reshaping this young and talented roster.

A ******* 2nd round pick…lmao. There was a time not too long ago where ppl in the league actually thought DK could be a Hall of fame megatron 2.0 and we could have received a kings ransom for him.

All of us who said to trade him then were 100 percent right and the ppl who screamed to keep him were wrong.

I don't really agree with that. DK is a very good starting caliber player and being able to reach 1,000 yards every season is unrealistic. Even retired WRs that have done it over a long period of time with multiple 1,000 yard seasons are still waiting to be inducted into the HOF. DK is also very young still and a change of scenery may help him too. Helps that he is playing with Pickens and Tomlin is a different style of coach compared to Pete.

I wonder why the Raiders didn't offer a 2nd for him. Pete knows DK better than anyone.

The cap space is the other factor and the Raiders want to upgrade their trenches most likely is my guess as new Raiders GM Spytek makes that his top priority.
