Laz 2 homers in 8 at-bats this spring.
Celestin just had 2 hits in one inning at 19 years old.
Spring means borderline nothing but as an Ms fan seeing this offense is fun.
People asked me why I'm excited and it's because the offense talent is coming
up real soon.
Montes is my favorite to be up first and Celestin is my 2nd favorite, it's just a
matter of him staying healthy.

Seems like to me Montes and Ford are ready while Emerson and Young aren't.
I see no point in having Haniger and Moore in the opening day line up either.

Ford might be ready, but what are they going to do with him? Cal is one of the best catchers in the league (gold glove and platinum glove last season). If they bring Ford up he's most likely going to be sitting on the bench 4 out of every 5 games. That's probably not the best thing for his development.

true true, i just really like his swing. He's so grounded. You have to fit either Montes or Ford in somehow if the Moore, Haniger, Garver experience continues to produce unprecedented numbers.

Moore still has value as a utility man. I know people don't restpect that, but he can play 7 positions at a league average or better level.

Agree. The mariners love utility men so very surprised they are ok starting Moore at 2B. Moore is not a starter. Keep him in his role that he is decent at. That’s why I always thought, while early, young may have a shot at starting at 2B

Bliss is having a decent spring. I'd be fine with Moore at 2d base until Bliss is ready to call up.

Bliss does hot early on and then his bat goes to shit.
Always hits well in the minors though.

Ford pinch hits late in a blow out. A lot of young players would go up there hacking away. He takes a walk. I like this dude rooting for him.

Ford sent to Minors. Hoping if Garver stinks it up again then Ford would be called up rather quickly.

Julio hits a granny in the 8th inning today go watch the replay look at his swing. First thing I thought...Miguel Cabrera. Just beautiful.

I think Ford stays down unless, heaven forbid, Cal misses some time. Sitting on the bench won't do much for him and his development. Playing once a week or so won't help his game. It kind of sucks but right now, Ford has more value as a top prospect trade bait player than a catcher.
