No playoff wins since the 2019 season in which we beat a mediocre Eagles team with a backup quarterback. John has been here the whole time. Just because we're better than the Browns and Raiders doesn't make it OK.

5 years since our last playoff win? You got me, fire everybody. Blow the whole thing up. We have the worst franchise in the NFL. Nobody support this team at all. Let's pack their equipment and move them to Oklahoma City.

Ravens haven't won a damn thing
Bills haven't won a damn thing
49ers haven't won a damn thing (Good)

The list goes on and on. Be careful what you wish for. The grass isn't always greener.

We are trending in the right direction.

Comparing us to what the Ravens, Bills and Niners have done in recent years is laughable. Come on.

We've all ended the season not winning the Super Bowl. You want us to be like the Steelers? Make the playoffs every year just to get bounced in the Wild Card round?

I never compared us to any of those teams except we have the same thing in common, we haven't won a damn thing in the same time frame. Congrats, that's 95% of the NFL. That's how it goes. You can have the best team in football and not win a damn thing.

No, I don't wanna be the Steelers. That's the point. I think they should have parted ways with Tomlin by now. They are stuck in the middle, very much like we are.

JS will not be fired unless and until Mike Macdonald fails. At the very least JS has shown he can put together super bowl rosters with the right coach.
But yeah fire that loser.

I guess I just don't see Seattle as Purgatory at all. Pete went to the playoffs 10 of 14 seasons, 2 Super Bowl's, a title, several division titles etc. A lot of teams would love to be in Purgatory that this team has been in. And I'm NOT saying that I'm satisfied. But damn, we've had it pretty good in Seattle for a long while. Shoot, they won 10 games with a brand-new coach, crap play calling on offense, a slightly above average QB and a horrible O Line.

Agreed. We are far from Purgatory. Rob Staton said it best, we are not far off from having a Roster like the Eagles. I doubt you would consider that purgatory. As stated above, purgatory would be the Browns, Jets, Jaguars. No one wants us to miss the playoffs. But you can see we aren't far off from being a top team. I choose to be optimistic about this team being close. You're choosing to be pessimistic. It does no good, especially since you're flat out wrong.

Hilarious to hear a Seahawk fan explain to other Seahawk fan's the definition of being in NFL purgatory. I'm pretty sure most 12's are acutely aware of what that means, especially the since 76' crowd.
I can only speak for myself, but RW's last pass in SB49 cast us back down into that cold, hard purgatory after spending decades trying to claw out of it.
