This is something that irritates the hell out of me. In the college games the little guy with the digital clock comes out and slows the games down like crazy. I imagine it happens in the NFL too.

Allen draws a roughing the passer penalty .936 times per 100 pass attempts, most among active quarterbacks. The next closest is Jared Goff at .781. Patrick Mahomes is seventh at .636. Former quarterback Robert Griffin III is No. 1 since 2009 at 1.241 per 100 attempts.

Allen had more roughing the passer calls than Mahomes go his way in 38 to 31, since 2018.
