Confirms my thought that they arent high on anyone theyve interviewed so far.
Fraley's wife indicated the choice was theirs. I think Seattle made an offer to Fraley and he declined.

Corbin's saying it sounds like Seattle offered him and he decided to stay after talking to Dan Campbell.

I think we just didn't land our preferred guy here.

If thats the case, they should make an announcement soon, assuming they had a backup who is willing to come in.

Maybe it's time to consider that this isn't that coveted of a job.

Fraley knows he has job security with Campbell. Here, he'd be moving across the country to take a chance on himself in a new position, where the last guy to hold that position was fired after just one season. Maybe it's too risky for him, especially with no long-term solution in place at QB.

It's still a job with considerable responsibility in the nation's premiere sports league. We won't get nobody, but I think there's a good chance we may have to take a gamble like we did with Grubb.

I don't think it's about the Seattle job not being desirable. Grubb's firing didn't help but I wouldn't be surprised if Campbell made some promises to him.

The reason the o line was so bad is gone. And our o line was about as bad as Washington's was last year and they turned it around with cheap free agents at guard and center.

And if Fraley thinks Detroit on '25 is a better gig than Seattle...the reasons they reached the heights they did are gone. The real Goff will be back.

But i commend him for picking family, loyalty to his current team and lifestyle over a promotion elsewhere.

There goes my top guy.

I suppose the two left would be Klint and Udinski. However, Klint has floated wanted to stay in that area because of family so either he stays in NO or he takes the Houston OC job. I doubt McCarthy goes down to an OC position, more likely he takes the year off and tries his options then. Bobby Slowik is an option now and if he's a contender I'd say Seattle's real options are only Udinski and Slowik.

It's not always just about the benjamins.

He's got 5 kids in school I saw reported. A raise and baby promotion probably made it easy to stay
5 kids, how could he put in the 18 hours a day needed to succeed as our OC? we need someone who eats football, drinks football, and never sleeps.
