Good to hear and good for him. They could do with some positivity and he’s a walking, talking slab of it. His ideas grew stale on the players in Seattle, but that was after 10+ years

Guess they think Pete had something left in the tank. Imo it's great hire but he better hit on a qb year 1.

Really happy for both Pete and the Raider organization. Solid hire and Pete will do a good job there, god knows there's plenty to do to get that ship pointed in the right direction.

Also, what's the line on Russell reuniting with Pete in Vegas??

Will he want Geno?

Rebuilding down to the studs with a 73 year old coach is def one way to go I guess. But that division is STACKED when it comes to coaches.

  • Andy Reid: 3 Super Bowl Championships, 4 AFC Championships, and 1 NFC Championship
  • Pete Carroll - 1 Super Bowl Championship, 2 NFC Championship, and 1 NCAA National Championship
  • Sean Payton - 1 Super Bowl Championship and 1 NFC Championship
  • Jim Harbaugh: 1 NFC Championship and 1 NCAA National Championship

Happy for him, but it's a poor situation: No quarterback, poor roster overall, cheap owner, and tough division with KC, Broncos and Chargers. Four potential HOF coaches in the same division.

On the upside, you do have Brock Bowers and Maxx Crosby and almost $100 million in cap space.
