BITD, when a player was beating you, there would be an LT on the team, who would take a penalty, but exact pain and or injury on said player. Call it dirty, I called it "Love of the game" and "The will to win". If your are going to get a roughing the passer penalty for touching the QB, may as well lay them out. Just sayin'.

I bounced after that BS call against the Texans when Mahomes did that late slide in the 3rd Quarter. The refs can easily influence a game by their BS calls. Having watched the NFL for 95% of my 56 years on this planet it’s so damn obvious.

Texans have a legit D. Up until I left the game after that BS call, I thought they looked pretty good. The kicker cost them 4 points. Not that he was the sole reason they lost of course.

The NFL wants what the NFL wants.

I tipped out too. The game is no longer a game. With gambling taking the stage, front and center, we may have a Colts v Jets replay of sorts. Say Rams or Philly v Chiefs, and bet on the underdog. It has happened before .... Will it be another 16-7 replay?

The can't leave it in the refs hands is a silly way to think. They can take it in their hands from the start of the game and control the entirety through phantom penalties and ignored penalties. When they call back touchdowns on phantom penalties and sustain drives through ignored penalties on the offense and phantom penalties on the defense it doesn't matter what you do.

It could take 5 days to complete a game....only way to make it fair though to address steering allegations.

I’d rather sit through a 5 hour game that was legitimate than a 3 hour phuc fest with the outcome dictated by NFL & Vegas via obvious questionable calls by the officials.

None of us had a dog in this fight, and we still saw a shit show of calls that favored a particular team.

3-4 calls/ non calls can absolutely effect the final result of a NFL football game.


I truly wish I didn’t love my Seattle Seahawks and the relationships I have that are related.
I’d walk away in a NY minute.
