From this guy who I've literally never heard of before today. It sounds like he's a pretty big name in Longhorns media though, so if he's incorrect with this report, I imagine somebody will be coming out and refuting it soon.

I would think if he was offered $8 million to transfer he would have accepted unless he’d likes his chances in 2025 draft instead of 2026

Unless his draft stock is considerably better than what's being reported, im guessing hed make a good amount more in NIL than he would as an NFL rookie next year, but he probably figures he has already made a ton of money in college and has his eyes on getting that second contract sooner, if he proves himself worthy. That's where the BIG money is.

I drafted him in Madden earlier today with our Seahawks first round pick, and I got a 'Best Pick of the Draft' (or something like that) achievement.

So, obviously, that's what the Seahawks should do. (I don't watch college ball, so that's as far as my opinion on the guy goes.)

No but ditching the booze can.
Is he really better? The D has carried his teams, which he doesn’t really run. He is the supposed offensive genius, but his QBs and offense have been average at best the last few years.

I probably watch more college football than NFL mostly SEC due to my location which Texas is now part of. My thoughts of Ewers is good enough physical ability to play in the NFL depending on the system, he will need a good running game for play action passes

I consider his ceiling to be Derek Carr

one thing to consider at Texas he played on a very talented team which can make the QB look better than what he really is

He’s led those teams to the CFP in two consecutive seasons. So yeah he’s better.

Coach K is awesome. So by better, you mean just staying out of his best coaches way, then yeah.

He’s better than his time at USC and UW. He’s taken Texas to the CFP twice. You can hate him all you want but saying he isn’t better, is BS.

You can be a scout for the Jets.

nope, I don't think so.

We might.

People are going to roll their eyes here but if John Schneider signs a Center and maybe a veteran Guard in free agency, I think there is a really high chance the Hawks draft Ewers in the first round.

He's not going in the 1st round.
