This is mostly an article about why he didn't take the commanders job last year but there are a few places he could go and we may be able to trade Howell to them, like the Raiders where he is projected the front runner. I do wonder if after last year if that ship has sailed but it is Seahawks related. However, if a Mod wants to move this I understand.

Interesting article and possible possibilities. Doubt we could get much for him at this point

People are still being too hard on the dude for one outing. No one remembers when Kirk Cousins came in against Seattle in the playoffs and played almost as bad as Howell did? He went on to have a fantastic career. A lot of people around the league like(d) Howell.

Doesn't he know that Sam played bad in a game that now defines his entire career and future prospects?
The problem is the ardent Geno supporters went overboard killing Howell to make their argument seem stronger and I think it wasn't even necessary. Geno is the better option. Doesn't mean Sam doesn't have a future in this leage either.

I don't think it is the one outing. At least not for me. Watch him at UNC. He was a 5th rounder in a very weak QB class for a very good reason
Then add to that anyone and everyone that had a front row seat during training camp. If you are in the Geno is mid/bad/not great camp, I don't know how you can make a case for Howell when everyone that watches him during TC said, he's bad, it's not close between he and Geno.

The answer is simple: Young, upside, patient, and just need "____".

I guess I'm not seeing the upside in Howell unless it is a faster route to drafting higher and hopefully landing the QBOTF in the next couple drafts.. If that is the case, okay.

I like Howell. I want him to start here. Geno can go elsewhere and cry and demand for his 45 million a year.

To me the upside for Howell at the top end is a Kirk Cousins or Dereck Carr type.
It is unfair to judge him based on one half of football thrown in a game where the line was getting shredded though.
