With the season almost over, which free agent players do you all think should be re-signed and brought back next year?

Tomlinson is not coming back as he served his purpose and has been passed over by younger players And the team is most likely going to draft another guard to compete anyways.

Which younger player that is proven LG material? Ok, which younger player flashed when playing LG or any G positions?

Yeah , Jones and Reed are the big standouts. They would be the only ones that would leave a big hole to fill. A couple other guys are nice depth players. It will be bigger decisions the following season when a lot of that 2022 draft class rookie contracts are up. Seems like this team is always up against it with the cap situation.

There isn't any young player on the roster that is proven at this point. But there is no point in keeping Tomlinson around for another year as he served his purpose as a stop gap. Seahawks need to dive in by drafting another guard in this upcoming off season and let them compete and start the two best guards for 2025.

Jones, yes, a no brainer. But Jarran Reed? He's on the wrong side of 30, not a good investment. It would depend on the price.

Reed was $4.5M and Hankins was $2M. That's not bad if those numbers don't go up.

One of Jobe or Brown should stay.

Jones will get some/most of Lockett's money, so we should still be in pretty good cap.

A friend of mine was talking about the cap savings before June 1 and after June 1 for Nwosu. It's a pretty good chunk. I just can't remember how much it was.
I love him as a player, but he misses a LOT of games, even if it's fluke injuries.

EDIT: Just got the scoop. He's actually pretty on top of this stuff.

8.5 mil cap savings if he is cut or traded BEFORE JUNE 1
15 mil cap savings if he is cut or traded AFTER JUNE 1

Yeah, and he's not exactly a stud but it's more about having to replace that position. There is nothing on the roster and he's solid if not spectacular, also he's been relatively cheap. So I imagine they can keep him for cheap while still finding ways to add to the dline.
