Is Ben Johnson a genius or does he just have the best O-line in the league?

It has the feeling of a 40 or 50 point to something beat down for Detroit.

Love had a guy open in the endzone on their last possession and missed him.

That game somewhat reminded me of ours. Had DK not fumbled it would have been more of a back and forth, rather than usnneeding to play catchup. We had them at 29 -35 with a chance to go ahead.

And that was with a skeleton crew D, before it all even clicked.

A team that can move the ball through the air (or ground) and bring pressure on Goff can beat them.

Good offenses have scored on them this year and GB made some drives look easy - as did we.

Would love to see our new defense matched against them in the playoffs. Praying for it.

This game is a reminder that no team looks unbeatable this year. I thought the Packers came in throwing their best punches. Their D looked aggressive throughout. Lions, after their hot opening drive just meddled around offensively for the most part.

Way too many runs up the middle against a stout DL, and Dan be Dan and all but my goodness, what in the hell are you thinking going for it on 4th and 2 basically on your own 30 yard line AND pitch the ball back 6 or so yards behind the line of scrimmage to try to convert?!

Thank God it wasn’t the Seahawks. I would have lost my shit.

The Lions are 12-1. With all the injuries they are dealing with that’s incredible. I just thought they looked a bit underwhelming on offense. Where were all the fun trickery plays? Some nice plays here and there but overall, it left me feeling unfulfilled as a viewer.

Glad they won. The division is basically a wrap.

While I don’t hate the Packers anymore with douchebag Rodgers no longer their QB, it’s still the Packers and they lost so, the obligatory tee hee.

Lions still had Hutchinson too. I feel lions and Green Bay are offensive teams. We are defense. We are much better on defense too since we last played the lions and different at linebacker. I can’t wait for green bay

Well, we are a defensive team that put up more than 500 yards of offense on them, 38 first downs, were 50% on 3rd down, and ran 78 plays.

Nobody else has done that to them this year.

We were 2 first downs away from setting the NFL record. 38 is the most in the NFL this year, tied with the Lions... who did it against the Jags. THE JAGS.

Our 516 yards of offense is good for 7th best this season and is by far more impressive than the teams with more yard totals agead of us. The Bengals were victimized twice by the Steelers and Ravens. , the Lions ran it up against the Jags, then Tampa, Cleveland and Atlanta had nice days against better teams (but not as good as Det), playing Tampa, New Orleans and Denver.

Summary - our offensive output against them this year was the most impressive performance by an O against a D this year.

We beat ourselves. That was the problem.

I have zero fear of Detroit. If we could do what we did to them in week 4, we can beat them in the playoffs.

Most important thing is - our team knows it...

And so does theirs.

Zero fear of Detroit? Really? That team is locked in. They have what 13 guys on IR, mostly on Defense? And they're still a one loss team. We could give them a battle, but I guarantee every team that faces Detroit knows it's a hell of a challenge.

I just love to meet the Lions for the conference championship game, they are my favorite for that match.

Tim Patrick was the hero of that game.

And that dum-dum Sean Payton released him from the Broncos...
