They had no trouble jettisoning Baker and Dodson because they weren’t cutting it at LB. They have tried three different players at RG.

If they see that a player isn’t performing then they clearly move on. Perhaps because they see Kenny Mac in practice every day, they see a clear indication of his talent level. Maybe he’s just not as good as K9 and Charbs. Maybe because he’s not as talented, they don’t want to risk his life behind that o line.

Maybe he’s a little suspect in catching kickoffs or punts. It just seems to me that they have done what they could in season to fix what ain’t working. This is the second coaching staff to not play Kmac. Maybe it’s that he isn’t as good as the two guys ahead of him.

Kind of alarming that this is the second staff that has made that decision. He missed a tackle on the kick return touchdown so maybe he should focus on being better there for now. I'm suprised you don't ever seem to hear his name on special teams.

This is where i'm at too. Maybe he isn't what we all think he is. Two different staffs now.

With the O line blocking on run plays the way they were Sunday, a change of RB wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference

Yeah, I hadn't realized he was on the coverage team until that missed tackle.

I'd kind of liked what I had seen from Shenault but remember seeing that he'd had fumble issues on his previous teams as well.

Put our equipment guy out there and just have him fair catch it, that would be light years better than what we're getting.

I'd like to see hm on kR and PR. But what's the point putting him in at running back, there still won't be any holes to run through.

He has been a KR at times... just can't tell you how many.

I believe that he had a return against the TweetyBirds that didn't go all that well.

Yep... I looked it up... only 20 yards.

Well, I might get wish because K9 is questionable with an ankle AND a calf. But even if K9 doesn't play, I could see Charbs getting all the carries. Should be interesting.
