I rewatched some of the game. Along with Olu, Coby, Jerrick, Ernest, Knight, and Jobe are all part of the solution.

There's a lot to be excited about. Especially if Abe can stay healthy. He was superb in the series he was in there. I saw him flatten a dude in the third quarter.

This is why I am not too worried about Christian Haynes. I keep hearing doom and gloom about him but I think MM likes to have a vet for the rookies to try and beat out as a motivational tool.
Except its the coaches saying Haynes doesn't have enough punch, not MMQB fans. Without it he won't start.

I was excited about the difference Olu and Abe made too. Still got a long way to go over-all on that oline though. 4 sacks, Geno still being pressured a 3rd of his dropbacks all the while the 9ers supposedly only blitzed on one passing play all game. Bradford had another penalty that could have ended a drive.

Surprisingly though, it still felt a little better despite of all that.

I think what has me excited (other than the prospect of having Lucas in there), is that the line looked a lot more physical against the Niners. It gives me hope that they can get to a place where there's more commitment to the running offense.

OLine spots are harder to step into as the learning curve is steeper with all the DLine talent in the league.
