I would guess he discovered fully overcoming injury deficits wasn't going to happen and realizing he has been a handicap for our team are reason for calling it quits.
So because he’s retiring every botched snap was Williams fault? Alright.

Williams air mailed more than one snap that was costly, Geno also has 1-2 that were on him. It happens

He had a pretty awful injury in Miami and most teams understandably felt he would need a full year off to heal. That said, mid season is surprising. Possible he’s just completely burnt out on staying in game shape and rehabbing. I know MM said the team discussed moving him to guard, hopefully there isn’t some bad juju in the locker room.

Yeah, there were a few that were technically bad snaps that Geno probably could have caught had he been paying attention. But then maybe Connor was a bit off the count, too. Timing issues as well?

Very disappointing. I'm sure there's more to the story, but I wish the coaches could have talked him into staying. Just as we get Lucas back, we now have a hole at center. We'll have growing pains with Olu for sure.

The lack of continuity along our line, week after week, year after year, is such a fIng joke! Who will be our brand new starting center NEXT year?!

Wow
Olu better step up or Geno is a dead man. Guard-Center-Guard is just a shit-show right now. Hopefully, Lucas is back and at least at 90%.

I want to thank Connor Williams. It wasn't pretty at times but coming back from a major injury I imagine is not easy. I hope he figures it out and wish him nothing but the best. Next man up. At least we see what we have for next year.
