Not after the horror stories I've heard through the years. They can be quite the unruly fanbase, especially to Seahawks fans.

I'm sure you will be fine but watch your back.

I second this. They are the single worst fan base in American professional sports. Be very careful in Santa Clara wearing Seahawks gear.

The horror stories I heard was before Levi Stadium. So I can't speak personally on how it is now in Santa Clara. I'm sure you will be fine. Just don't be "that guy", being obnoxious after each good Seahawks play or TD, pissing off those around you, lol. We've all seen those opposing team fans.

Santa Clara is a lot nicer neighborhood than Hunter's point. Tickets are much more expensive. Most of the "gang element" is gone

I have stayed at the Hilton next to the parking lot. My wife and I (she is a die hard Niner fan!) we have been to 3 games and tailgated. We have never had an issue. Except for the girl below! lol 😂 fyi that’s not my wife!IMG 2175
As Aros said just don’t be that guy.

I now live and work in the Bay area, just across the water from SF. Half the people I work with are Niners fans, the other half are Raiders fans. All of them are *well aware* that I'm a Seahawks guy. We all talk a little smack to each other, but it's all small-time, fun stuff. We are all blue-collar, work-your-ass-off types.

SF itself is a little iffy, even in the touristy areas. Union Square is actually where Ricky Pearsall got shot when some underage punk tried to relieve him of his Rolex and he just said no.

I'd 100% steer clear of any side visits Oakland.

I haven't been to any actual games here, and none in Seattle since when they were playing in Husky Stadium.

Anyway, have fun and enjoy the game!

PS: Pretty spendy around here, but so is Seattle, so sticker-shock shouldn't be a problem.

It is nothing like going to the Coliseum in Oakland wearing opposing team gear. That was frightening and the crowd looked like an early release program was taking place in the stadium.

SC is pretty safe these days.

Oh those stories are true. I live in the Bay Area..went to game several years back vs Seahawks. Bunch of Niners fans dumped their coals after their BBQ tailgating..dumped it on the hood of my SUV and poured grease all over my windshield. Security for the game was sitting at the end of thr row where I parked and conveniently didn't see a thing while he had a smirk on his face. Never went back. I had a tiny Seahawks sticker on my bumper, didn't even think about it.

I'm 20 minutes down the freeway...I can confirm this to be true

I went to a couple games at Oakland alameda with my brother (raiders fan). You used to get out of the BART there and it was like walking towards prison. Chain link fence up and over the walk way with sketchy looking dudes yelling RAAAIIDERRRssss!

Nice meaty hips! But I'll be DAMNED if she ain't the effing LOGO for "Dusty Digits fan's insignificant other" 😂. I guarantee she has an X14 tattoo somewhere on her body and N2Deep's first 2 albums in her lowered Camry's CD changer 🤣. She could get this work tho!

Now see, that shit would have me either in county jail or shot/stabbed. Or both. 🤬. I can't stand punkrock bitchassedness like that.

Went to the stadium between the Christmas and New Years holidays a few years back and took the rail out of Sunnyvale where I stayed at a Motel 6. There can be issues around the motel but if you are cool, it is ok. The stadium was ok no issues with fans from my perspective. We had a decent showing too of fans. I think me and Riverdog went that time. I think we went to the motel bar there at the stadium for pregame liquids. It was open to whomever.
