How do you feel about a potential trade between Carolina and Seattle for the recently benched former 1st overall pick, Bryce Young?

Young doesn't fit Grubbs's offense at all. The reporter must have thought, "Seattle had a short QB once. Maybe they want another one."

Of the teams mentioned, only the Dolphins make sense. None of the other contenders will want Young's contract, even as a hedge against an aging QB. Miami at least has the Tua conundrum weighing on their minds, and Young has a skillset that might work in that offense. I mean, Young is basically a smaller, less-dynamic version of Tua. They have the weapons to run a horizontal offense successfully. It makes sense.

If anyone takes him right now it would have to be Miami and if they don’t want him as bad off as they are, why would we with a pretty good situation? Howell looked decent and Geno just played a lights out game.

I swear these writers just throw stuff to the wall until something sticks.

There is zero chance the Panthers trade Young to any team, his value is pretty low right now and he is on a rookie contract

I'm all for buying low. I remember similarly suggesting Jordan Love on here a few years ago when he had been written off as Aaron Rodgers' successor, and being told it'd be a waste of draft capital.

I do like Howell's potential still though.

If Grubb bangs the table for a guy then I’m likely to give him the benefit of the doubt and trust he sees something. Don’t see Young as a fit though.

Granted the majority of these throws shown here are from his rookie campaign, he does have more upside than Howell imo and could serve as a better contingency if Geno were to go down for any reason.

Half of this "content" is all AI generated trash ran by bots. It's hilarious (and pretty sad actually) that people think it's real in any way. The best is when bots are responding to bots, haha.

Not seen anything in Bryce Young to want him at the Seahawks
Dolphins if any trade to be done at the moment, but think they might go with Tyler Huntley if Thompson doesn't work out & Tua is advised against playing

Anyway onto tomorrow & no reason Seahawks can't go 3-0 !!

I liked Bryce Young coming out of college. I saw some of his Alabama games and thought he was tremendous. He was good in the pocket, had a lot of awareness to move around and make plays and seemed to possess a lot of football intuition and acumen, things you can't teach. He was the opposite of a Will Levis, Young seemed to love the game.

So I would be interested in him, if he was available. But right now, I don't think that I would value him over Sam Howell. I think it's more likely a team that doesn't have a competent backup (or starter) takes a flyer on Young.
