So, we're disrespected because of bias against the west coast that's causing them to not give enough credit to the league's eastern-most team? Also, they overrate the Niners: the media darlings of the east.

The quarterbacks we've beaten are a beaten Bo Nix and the handcuffed Jacoby Brissett.

Prepare thyself, if we slam Skylar Thompson at home it won't get much better.

Until if/when we can beat the Lions on the road, it's going to look about like this.

NFL.com's current ratings are weird af. They have the 1-1 49ers at #2, the 1-1 Lions at #5 and the 0-2 Ravens at #9
The 2-0 Buccaneers at #12 and us at 2-0 way down at 19. Almost no sense to it, just popularity.
Records through two games are largely a function of schedule. There needs to be a bigger sample size to justify any significant movement up and down the power rankings.

I love laughing at the "You guys won but" posts.

Yeah, winning is a such bummer. Or "They were only playing x team"
So? You can only play and beat who is in front of you.

Just ask Tom Brady how sad he must feel looking at all of those rings thanks to the shit teams he beat up on year after year. That Cupcake Division he was fortunate to take advantage of does not make those Lombardi's and rings shine any less, I promise you.

You can only play the teams you have been scheduled to play and you still have to win.

Oh, look at that, two wins are two wins!

Undefeated is still undefeated!

I’ll take it!

All other people that bag on the Seahawks about being undefeated—their teams didn’t handle their business. Seattle did.

2-0 and first place in the NFC West!

I’ll take it 10/10 times!

The ranking feels a bit more dubious considering he has the Chargers at #3.

3?
Not to mention the Darnold lead Vikings at #6. Then again, his list does feel like a perfect week-two overreaction ranking.

Two weeks have been played. We know very little about any team, even the Seahawks. Things start to become more clear like the last third of the season.

These types of rankings are supposed to be for fun. If you're getting actually worked up about it, you should evaluate your priorities.

I just checked out the rankings on NFL.com. I don't care. They can think the Falcons, Saints, the 0-2 Bengals, Raiders, Ravens, Rams etc...are a better team. This is proof that the Mouth Breathing NFL media HATES the PNW and that Macdonald is our HC. All of us on here who have been life long Seahawk fans know the drill. We always been hated on so it's nothing new. The NFL media can kiss my white ass.

Way too much ranking based on the last year's result. Ludicrous in a league where so much changes in the off season.

KC is not number one this season. NO is by far the team that is playing the best right now. Followed by TB. Followed by the Vikes. Of course things can change quickly, but you should rank based on this season not based on some predetermined ideas based on last season.

Yep, we still need a "signature win" to really vault up the rankings, and they have that opportunity by going into Detroit on MNF. And agreed on San Fran. It's just not credible to have them at #2 at this point. They're not the same team they were last year (particularly since you have to start wondering when/if CMC is coming back this year).
Completely agree with needing a quality win to get recognition

Can't stand that A-hole...but I'd like some of what ever he's smokin'.
His make some semblance of sense compared to NFL.com. At least he gives the 2-0 teams their respect. Everyone is ranking the Ravens too high, 0-2 is 0-2. There's no real evidence they still deserve a high ranking. Lost too many players, lost coaching. It's nuts having them above 15 at best.
