Russ chose the "Hollywood" lifestyle before he married Ciara. I remember him saying something along the lines of "When I saw Ciara on TV, I told myself, I'm gonna marry that girl." He seemed to imply that he said that before they met. Kinda creepy for someone to say something like that if you ask me.

That's always been his M.O though, kinda like how he said he picked the Seahawks name out of a hat, and that's how he knew he was gonna be drafted by them. Is any of it true? Who knows.

It was almost like confirmation biased when he married Ciara. Some of us choose partners that make us better as people (who challenge us and drive us to improve weaknesses), and some of us choose partners that feed into our own narcissism (just make us feel comfortable no matter how bad we're hurting ourselves or others). I will always be a firm believer in the former over the later. I've seen it completely change my family.
