Are the 49ers still the big bullies on the block?

49ers, Eagles, Cowboys and Lions are a tier above everyone else. 49ers are for sure at the top.

Then you have a second tier with Rams, Bucs, Seahawks, Vikings, Saints, Falcons and Packers.

And the third tier that is looking to move up into the second tier are the Cardinals, Bears, Giants, and Panthers.

Cowboys are paper tigers, as usual. Mental midget for a coach and the most overrated QB in the league that crumbles when the pressure is on.

The Cowboys are still a talented team on paper but their coaching does hold them back.

Did Aiyuk sign yet?

I agree that without Williams on the left they will have issues. significant issues.

If they don't have one or both of those guys the door will be open.

They paid Dak who has shown he has a ceiling come play off time.

Which is why they need to hit on their next two drafts or else they are going to sink even if Dak plays better. They have started to lose talent but they need to really hit on their drafts.

They are hoping Dak balls out in a contract year but you just know with the cowboys they'll blame the inevitable failure on someone/something else as an excuse and still pay Dak again

Niners, yes, but the cracks are definitely showing. CMAC being Madden cover athlete pretty much seals it, but on paper, for now, yes, they are the team to beat in the NFC.

Eagles do not belong in that category. They coasted on an easy schedule before getting exposed down the stretch. Their defense was one of the worst in the entire league.

Cowboys... man, what can you say? Dak has produced as a top 5 QB consistently but there are obvious questions about his ability to produce on the big stage and the coaching on that team leaves so much to be desired. Do they belong on that level on paper? Yes, absolutely. But if I were a Dallas fan, I'd expect to be disappointed in the winter once again.

Lions look pretty good but now everybody knows it, so we'll see how they respond to being that type of team. They're going to have a divisional champs schedule now and the Packers recovered from Aaron Rodgers falling off a cliff and then packing his bags pretty darn quick.

The cowboys will not win anything of note until Jerruh retires/dies. (This is probably happening on the same day)

I will say this much: Their window for NFC supremacy is closing.

Cowherd has hinted there's some issues behind the scenes at the Eagles. The players hating the coach etc

The 49ers lose when Williams isn't healthy. He has already stated that he is willing to sit out real games if he doesn't get what he wants. That's not a very good way to start the season if you're a 49er. I can see that team imploding.

I would take Seattle's talent over the Niners. They are a bully in reputation only.

A lot of that elite talent is old with a ton of mileage.
