I think he makes bad decisions and is very turnover prone, he's got talent but not enough for me to justify trading for him

Have you watched the PS games? He's played ~70% of snaps, had 0 turnovers and made excellent decisions. I'm leaning toward the uninformed opinion.

You can cite what he did with the Commanders, but that was not all on him. He is now with a new team, new coaches, better team.

Geno is clearly the better QB. But Howell looks like a very solid backup. We should all want this, imo. It's not a geNO vs. Howell thing.

Howell is a solid QB2, hopefully we don't see him in any meaningful games. He's serviceable if need be, and that's all that matters.

Good points. He didn't have much to work with out there. And again, coaching matters.

It's encouraging that Howell isn't throwing a bunch of int's, so he's at least good as a backup. Hopefully he can take it to another level. Not sure how, but he's only 23, unlike Geno, so anything is still possible.

Geno has been watching, funny he wants to renegotiate his contract. I wonder what he is thinking.

He's an above average QB. I'm happy he's under center. I just want more from him in the clutch. It IS ok to be cautiously optimistic and/or not be all in on a QB.

Fair enough. We're more or less on the same page. I hope for the D to make it so we don't need so much from him in the clutch.
