Thin at LBer so will take it. there was a chance Jackson was getting cut anyway

This is a good trade. LB was and is still our biggest need. I never really seen big upside with Jackson. Plus we have a bunch of young talent at CB that can give us what he can.

Nice article on our new Hawk.

Apparently he hit a Maryland player so hard in a game last year that he cracked his helmet - its in Harbaugh's trophy case.

He was projected to go higher than he did.

Love that he has a chip now and thankful we have another body at the position. I think we are going to need them this year...

Readling the tea leaves? Mike likes this kid and has for a while. Otherwise, they get more for Jackson in a trade.

My read .............

I think this trade is all about fit. Jackson is better on the perimeter in zone. The DBs the Seahawks are keeping travel better and are stickier in man coverage. This trade is driven by a change in the defensive style for 2024. Don't know anything about the incoming linebacker yet. Presumably, he will be a better fit in the new Seattle defense. Likely a Smart Trade.
