I would guess they're shopping him with the way Shenault played in Preseason, and keeping him out of practice so he doesn't get hurt. Maybe a 7th if we're lucky.

I think I’d rather just release him outright than pay some other team a 7th rounder to take him off our hands.

With his injury history and lack of production...I'm not giving up anything if I'm a GM.

We did get a 1st for Mirer...so anything is possible.
I threw that in the face of a friend of mine who's a Bears fan a few years back and he was still salty about it, lol. One of the underappreciated benefits of getting old is having the life experience and memory to throw down a sweet comeback from the archives.

Sadly, I have a gold-plated Rick Mirer rookie card - tell your Bears friend I'm willing to part with it.....CHEAP!!

Mirer was the first jersey I ever got, and I wasn't even a fan of the Seahawks at the time, just thought their jerseys were awesome. Pretty sure I still have it around somewhere.

Kind of surprising, because he stayed remarkably healthy in college aside from a broken collarbone that ended his fourth year early. Weird how that happens sometimes. Prosise somehow played in 24 games his last two years at Notre Dame, Rashaad Penny got the highest medical grade we had ever given a prospect... you just never know sometimes.

Eskridge seems destined to be a PS type player which I wouldn’t hate as he doesn’t take up a roster spot unless needed to, and if he gets injured, replacing him is much easier. Plus. the strengths of his game or lack thereof is probably more beneficial on a scout team than a live game.
