Gotta say I'm not a fan of Saturday games in August, but I don't need to watch the preseason live as much as I do the regular season, so I am fine with recording it and watching it leisurely. I'd prefer to watch it live, but Sumer is only so long here.

Yeah, those will likely clash with some Mariners games, who will hopefully be on their 'Win the Division/Playoff' run. :)

I'm a huge preseason fan. Largely because I'm a sucker for these stories. I never got to the level these kids will experience August 10th, etc. A dream realized. If only for a moment. The least I can do is watch. Cuz without us fans, their dream is not truly fulfilled. It's not enough to strap on an NFL helmet. One has to be seen in that helmet.

That and this is quite possibly the last time I will get to see many kids I so enjoyed watching play collegiately. Many will soon realize it was nothing more than a dream and now it's time to go to work for dad. Others, less fortunate, will pack boxes at Amazon and limp around on bad knees telling their co-workers " I really thought I'd be someone. I really thought I'd make it".

Yeah...the least I can do is watch.

I have no idea but…
How often do teams play each other in preseason and regular season?

I’m not sure it happens very often, maybe I just have never paid attention/noticed?
I believe there’s been a few times we’ve done it. Most notably iirc the Broncos .. a couple times

Hey, I will take the back to back home games that are 9 days apart before only traveling to a game that is in the Central Time Zone after 7 days to a city that’s relatively on the same latitude as Seattle.

I still think it was pretty messed up, last year, that the Seahawks had to travel all the way to Pittsburgh for their first game, with a 7pm start (Eastern) no less, then turn around to play another game after just 4 days of rest.
