There was a clear example of a ref and his "judgement" on icing that gave them their 2nd goal
Most icing are not near that blatant. Without that non call it would have been 1 1 at the end of regulation.

C'mon man. The Stars were the better team tonight. It's unfortunate, but we just didn't play very well. This game was absolutely not decided by the officiating.

I never said they weren't a better team look at all my posts! I said we looked slow, I said we were not controlling the puck
BUT just because the Stars were a better team it doesn't then negate the fact that it was icing!!!! Even the announcers were surprised.
Icing is icing and there have been a whole thread about when it isn't and is called.
My point remains. It was ICING!!!!!!! If it was properly called. it would have been 1 1 and overtime so don't go all sanctimonious on me. I didn't say the game was decided by officiating. BUT if was F U C K I N G icing, PERIOD!
There should have been an OT if it was called like it is 99% of the time.
It was shot deep within the Dallas zone crossed 3 lines and was picked up by the Dallas player just before it crossed the 4th line. There were NO redirects or touching of the puck by a Seattle player crossing those 3 lines.

They had a great year. no one could have predicted the Kraken were going to be this good in their second run. They are to be congratulated for how well they played and how far they got.

Maybe you should learn the rules! Just pointed out facts that you don't want to hear. Dallas played better, but not that much better. BUT that doesn't stop the fact it was icing and not called! It resulted in a goal period.
You probably are one of those who believe NFL officials never miss a call as well, or don't call something that is blatant!

no one was expecting them to make a deep playoff run. I was expecting you guys to go to the Stanley cup with the way Seattle was playing.

Well I was hoping to get past Dallas and thought they had a great chance, but over 2 years the Kraken are only 1 and 7 against VGK.
I had no real confidence that they would beat VGK in a 7 game series, was hoping but as a realist, I was not confident. I just wanted to see the games.

Since you did not correct my statement of the events or I am wrong about the rules, can you please pass on to me your superior knowledge of the rules of hockey or where I got it wrong in my explanation of what happened.
If it was not icing then please produce the evidence and I will shut up! But if you cant then you should.............

guys looked sluggish and the big defensive guy made a couple of critical mistakes to his overall great playoff series play.

He was very unlucky with the bounce of the puck at the blue line on that first goal. 9 times out of 10 that sticks on his stick and the guy does not get a break away.
I thought the puck was bouncing off their sticks most of the game. Not crisp with the stick work tonight, or as what happens with a football some times things just don't bounce your way.
But I am still waiting for Chapow to provide me with visual indisputable evidence that the second goal did not come from a missed icing call zzzzzzzzz

It was a fun ride. I'm not a hockey fan but I learned a bit about it. One thing is for sure, not only do we have a bona-fide NHL team, they are LEGIT!!!

Well that sucked. Gru played his ass off, he’s the only one that got off the plane.
Their holes are obvious. Not getting shots off on the power plays, losing face offs, not clearing the puck, turnovers on own end etc. All fixable. Having a deep minor league system is going to help next year and into the future.
As frustrating as the loss was tonight they way overachieved by just making the playoffs and then winning a round and taking the next round to game 7.
Bad hockey like tonight is better than no hockey.
The guys will be back even better next year, this is just the first step.
