That's right, I said it. The Seahawks are drafting Will Levis with the #5 overall pick.

Not that long ago, I was confident it was Jalen Carter. However, recent events have changed my perspective, and its obvious that the team has showed their hand with who they view to be their top pick.

In the QB selfies, look at Schneider's placement with Carroll. With CJ Stroud and Bryce Young, Schneider is far away from Carroll. However, in the selfie with Levis, where's Schneider? He's snuggling right up next to Carroll, directly behind Levis. This is a true sign that this is the QB that Schneider wants, and he's gotten himself right next to Pete in the picture as a sign that THIS is the QB he wants.

Will Levis to Seattle confirmed at #5. See images below as evidence.

I have spoken.

I highly doubt it. But hey, you never know. Especially w/these guys.
Side note: They have taken photo's with every QB they have looked at so there is that.
They are playing this perfectly. Make everyone think you're going QB, then someone can get desperate enough to trade up to 5.

It wouldn't shock me at all. He has all the physical tools you want, he is known as a workout warrior who busts his ass and his teammates and coaches all love him. He played in a similar offense at Kentucky that we run and in 2021 he was much better than he was last year. He seems to be what JS has historically liked in the past too. This forum will lose its collective mind but I would be pumped if they drafted Levis.

I disagree. Right after the visit with Levis, I heard Pete in a radio interview and he was asked regarding the QBs what he looked for, and he replied that he wants the guy you would want on your side in a pick up game in the park. That's Young, not Levis. In fact, what everyone has been saying about Levis is that he looks like he's never played football in the park with his friends.

Let's be honest, unless it's Anderson, much of this board is gonna' lose their minds regardless WHO they take at 5 :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

So what are we going to do if John and Pete are snuggling at Richardson's pro day selfie tomorrow. lol

Congratulations! You have broken the code!!

Funny, I didn't realize that selfie was Levis; from the chin up, Levis looks like just another member of the Seahawks coaching staff taking a selfie of the coaching braintrust.

Not that the Seahawks wouldn't take Levis, but ultimately I think he ends up in Indy; and I think either Anderson or Richardson ends up with the Hawks if no trade down.

Panthers, Texans, Colts all need their rookie QB to be able to start week 1. That's Stroud, Young, Levis in any order. Fitterer/Reich (2nd HC shot), Caserio, and Ballard do not have the equity/leash to roll the dice on AR and wait for him, as they could be fired by the time he is ready; plus if they don't start their rookie QB they might as well be in the Caleb Williams/Drake Maye sweepstakes.

Geno/Pete raise the floor on the Hawks record above being in this QB range again; and Geno/Lock (if Geno were to get injured) allow for a true complete redshirt for a rookie QB. IMO that follows as AR to Seattle. Unless Vegas trades with Arizona, but after McDaniels failed in Denver putting his eggs in the Tebow basket I can't envision him being that bold again.

If I had to guess:

Carolina: Young/Stroud
Houston: Young/Stroud
Arizona: Anderson (unless blown away by a trade down)
Indy: Levis
Seattle: Richardson (unless blown away by a trade down)

My exact response. Maybe JS's son?

Sea- Richardson/Wilson

I do like Tyree, but I am just not sure where someone with his physical dimensions fits in this defense (at the risk of taking us off topic with a discussion for the draft section).

the hawks are trying to help the cardinals trade 3 to a qb needy team.. A run of 4 qbs to start the draft gives them any defensive player they want.

5 just seems high especially when you have to do some mental gymnastics to fit him into our defense. Maybe in a trade down but I just don't see them taking him at 5.

Lmao. So true. Being that AZ isn’t passing up on Anderson, I see chaos in our near future.

I trust JS and Pete. I wouldn’t be disappointed to see us grab Richardson, Carter, or Gonzales here. Two of them are a lot less likely than the other.

I wouldn’t be against a trade down but I’d hope our pick to only go down a few spots (stay top 10) and maybe be able to snatch a guard and/or a 2nd round pick for that 5th pick.

These folks saying trade pick 5 for next years first rounder and maybe a 3rd (this year or next) bewilder me.

We’re not seeing a #5 or below next year and I doubt the teams we’re most likely to be trade partners with are either.

Out of the three I mentioned, there’s only one I consider a “sure shot” (Gonzales) and he doesn’t fit JS and PCs preference for which round they pick up DBs. Also have to factor in that we picked up Love and still have Bryant.

Basically…what I’m saying is….I don’t know wtf is going to happen and neither do the rest of you 😃.

It’s going to be exciting come draft day!!

#5 is too high to draft someone you're not enamored with. I'd rather them take Christian Gonzalez or someone who is the premier player at their respective position, than drafting Wilson.

I agree that Seattle's ideal is probably Anderson sitting there. But I just can't identify which other HC/GM combo has the job security to be afforded the leash to roll the dice on Richardson and have the draft start 4/4 at QB. Maybe Detroit and Tennessee.
