who cares, it's all BS and the NFL will help whoever they want to win. Remember SB XL? If anyone can justify the BS forward progress and myriad of other crap calls, please let me know. I no longer care about anything NFL. GARBAGE. I will not support this BS with my time, and especially not my money

Yeah he has a hard time shedding blocks but being held definitely doesn't help...

I think this play falls more on Barton, I think he crashes too hard into the opposite side of the play leaving that gap wide open.

Ummmmm... Explain why we ever should have gone to OT. Until I see a valid explanation, I won't put this on anyone but the NFL. Sorry to play spoiler, but nothing matters.

Little tugs like this happen all the time in every game and are rarely called unless the O lets their hands stray outside the chest area.

Barton has a knack for moving away from the gaps the RB runs through and homing in on linemen who can easily wash him out

We gave up 40 points. That's why we lost. You should never lose scoring 34 points.... period. Crying about refs is pointless, our defense has huge holes, Barton , lack of pass rush, Taylor is yet another no show, safety play is mediocre. Rookie corners making assignments mistakes. That's why we lost to the 3 and 7 raiders... .

Then why were you here posting on a forum for fans of an NFL team even after the game was over? Enjoy your NFL-free life.

And R.I.P. to the profile @4ever12 (hahahahahahaha that name seems so appropriate for somebody who gives up on the team and the league as a whole after the team experts expected to win three or four games all season lost a game to fall to 6-5 ). Closed so soon, after just 40 comments.

The refs could probably call holding on basically every play. So it's sometimes telling which. team they're supposed to be putting the thumb on scales for when they DO call a little tricky-tack hold here or there.

Nearly 300 yards rushing, if the refs are going to be the scapegoat, good luck with that. Did they shaft us a couple times? Probably.
Is it the reason they lost? no

Yeah this is one of those games where the Seattle defense sucked a lot more than the refs

I just wish they would let the play finish before those quick whistles. Then they can go take a look at it. Game changer for sure if they call that a fumble and we get it.

Fortunately the L was against an AFC team. The next game is critical for the team to get itself right on D.

That's a good quesiton. Who's gap is that. Barton runs into a pile, several Hawks are already there and he takes himself out of the play.

Lot of threads today trying to figure out why we lost. WE lost either due to talent, scheme or knowledge. We have plenty of talent, but I'm, not sure about scheme and gaining knowledge is a painful process of having games like this Sunday. Hopefully they learn. If they can't learn then I'm wrong about having enough talent. :)

He probably was held. But, the Offense did have the ball at the end of regulation w/a chance to get a winning score. Same in OT after the Raiders missed a FG. MOST of this game is on the defense. But the Offense had their opportunity right in front of them too.

What about the other six dudes at the line of scrimmage who couldn't get off their blocks, or how bout both safeties who took terrible angles.

When a RB takes it to the house deep inside his own side of the field? It's a complete defensive crapping of the bed.

It is strange isn't it? I mean looking at it, he could've been covering the right gap but it doesn't even look like there is a gap even there to cover, but he's there anyway- This is why I think Barton has the absolute worst vision on the team, why are you not focusing on the RB? Why are you not even on the play side? Overall I think it was just another bad gameplan just like the Bucs game-Pete even said they might've focused a little too much on covering Adams thats why they played so much 2 high safety but then of course Jacobs ends up getting like 289 on the ground because of the light 7 man boxes
