Looking a lot like 7-10 to me. The rest of the schedule isn't a cake walk with the Jets and Giants playing well and still two games against the Rams to go.

Looking at the schedule I see 3 more wins maybe 4. all you pollyannas out there. Who are we going to beat besides the Tards and Panthers? Maybe 1 win against another division opponent?

Did you have us beating the Broncos, Lions and Cardinals? There's too much uncertainty in the NFL to look at the schedule ahead of time and mark off wins and losses.

If you play three games where your team is expected to be significant underdogs (33%) then you should expect to win one. There's a good chance that we drop one of the games against the Cardinals and Panthers but then win multiple games you're currently viewing as a loss.

Chargers, Rams, and Raiders are all worse than the Seahawks. I think both New York teams are as well but have a better record than their team is actually playing at.

And the Buccaneers just lost to the Steelers and the Niners with their injury situation are a completely different team (we also would know to gameplan for Jimmy G). We need to wait to see who's actually suiting up by the next time we play them. There is a reason why our record and these guys are the same right now.

If I'm trying to figure what I think is most likely, I say we take the rest of the AFC West minus the Chiefs, split with the New York teams, split with the Rams because of divisional opponent, take one of the two between Bucs and Niners, and beat both the Cardinals and Panthers.

That's 10-7 and will probably put us squarely in the playoff race.

Am I being overly optimistic? Maybe, but if I am, I don't think it's by much.

Only Games I see us as significant favorites for are the Home games against the Panthers, Raiders and Jets, where were are significant underdogs for trips to the Chargers, Buccs, Rams and Chiefs with the remaining 4 games being pick 'ems. That would put us on course for around an 8-9 season.

Question: Why do you see us as 'significant underdogs' for the Chargers and Rams? Is this the home field advantage or...?

Chargers have not played that much better than us (if at all) and the Rams have been pretty bad. I do expect to the Rams to get aggressive trying to grab some talent in the next couple of weeks but enough for a turnaround...? We'll see.

I initially thought 5-6. But I wrote Geno and he ain’t write back so….

I’ve seen the light. PCs face is just in front of the sun (actually, it’s a heat lamp that JS is holding in my dreams) and he’s chewing two entire packs of Hubba Bubba. I went from R.Carrington Fan Club wanna be member to pure Hawks homer in a matter of weeks. It was an Epiphany of sorts…like “hmmm. Russ really is a dickhead”.

Then it came to me, Pete spit out 9 huge loads of gum in my dream.

I’m going with 9+

I would say both the Rams and Chargers are slightly better than us give them home advantage and that makes us "significant underdogs" Our home game against the Rams is a pick 'em.
NFL power rankings has chargers 10, Rams 12 and us 20. The bookies have the Chargers at -6. 538 has our win probability at 30%, and trying ot be unbiased I think they are about right. Our defence played well against the Cards but it takes more than one game to be convinced averything is fixed there.

My take remains unchanged, 7-10 season. I think adding Cross and Lucas has made Geno equivalent to our last season with RW.
Geno is playing much better than Russ did last year. He played about as good last year. That Ram game should’ve had PI called on his int. A ball hit Adams in the face against Pitt.
