I know. I hope broncos play awful this season for the picks. Then after this year I don’t care. But it’s tough to see Russ play this bad. I thought that Russ was overrated. But I guess we needed to see it first hand.

Now I think imagine we had a diff QB in 2014 and on. Maybe we would win games at the half instead of them being mail bitters. Who knows now.

More likely, Russell came with a fragile ego and Pete Carroll as the highly supportive and forward thinking coach that he is worked with Russell to help him develop and grow in a minimally toxic free environment as he could.

At some point blaming others for the faults of self is simply lazy. Russell is fully responsible for the person he has chosen to become. Maybe with his money and his free time he can create separation through his preparation to work on his own psyche.

I was referring to the season opening MNF, Pete did all he could to mess with Wilson, from booing to hostile ex-teammates, etc etc., Russ hasn't been the same after that game.

Pete is competing, but he's not trying to break Russell. That's something that we are taking pleasure in, but honestly Pete relished the win and the fight and the competition, but his message is not jaded as most of us probably are.

We cannot prove matters of the mind. I just take the nature of Pete and his never ending belief in humans as who he is.

I believe he wanted the fans to boo to make it harder on Russell within the competition of the game, but I also believe Pete cares about Russell now just as he did when he was part of the team.

I think Pete is a really good man and coach who has a job he loves not only leading a football team but helping everyone he comes into contact with to become their best.

Speaking for myself, and possibly others, what I'm taking pleasure in is "Seeing the TRUTH" about Russell, and "He is who we thought he was", with credit to other .NET posters, notably keasley45, who helped me cut through the hero worship and see a more accurate picture about a year ago. Following the drama with interest, and rooting for Russell to pull it together--NEXT YEAR, lol, after we get a top-10 pick (and 2nd rounder) from Broncs.
