Knox was the coach in the two Seahawks games my dad took me to see in Foxborough in 1984 and 1986.
I'll never forget the magical 1983 season, especially the playoff game in Miami, and I'll never stop hating the Raiders.
I also remember a game at the end of a season in the '80s. I'm not sure, but I think the Seahawks needed to win to have a shot at the playoffs. The few uninjured linebackers they had at the beginning of the game got injured during the game, so they ended up winning with no healthy linebackers. I remember seeing Chuck Knox in the Seahawks locker room after the game, telling the team he had never been prouder of one of his teams than he was of the Seahawks that day. Was that 1986?
