It has been posted that Butler was seen at the team facilities, but I haven't seen any "official signing" links yet. Everything I've seen says that he is "expected" to be re-signed and is NOT travelling with the team this week. Obviously, even if he was to be signed, he wouldn't play this week since he's had no practice with this team. Our offense has progressed quite a bit since he last ran a route here.
I do think he's a smart signing at this point. He's familiar with the players and play callers, he's got good hands and will be up to speed here very quickly. Will be nice depth to have come playoff time
