When you pay the QB this amount of money, there isn't much left for 5 more top players.
Seahawks are lucky, we have many players still on their original contracts.

I feel like they are always up against the cap. They always maneuver contracts and make some cuts to get back down. But damn....31M is a lot of money.

If RW were a free agent today (end of season), would you pay him Rogers or Brees or Ryan money?

I would say you would have to. It is not easy to find a franchise QB today.

Dallas are a classic team who consistently throw money at problems. The thing is, there's always a new problem. Let's call it the Tim Ruskell approach.

They don't even draft badly. But their constant knee-jerk spending, identity crisis on defense and lack of a proper GM kills them.
