Fact #1 - This team's pass rush has deteriorated this season. The Hawks are simply not getting pressure on the opposing QBs with a 4 man rush.
Fact #2 - This team's defense cannot get off the field on 3rd and long.....very reminiscent of 2012 and at least partially related to fact #1. 3rd and freakin' 20 for heaven's sake!!
Fact #3 - The WRs are still struggling to get open.
Fact #4 - The O-line is still poor at pass pro though when they did provide some (late in first half on like 3 straight plays) but the WRs failed to get open.
Fact #5 - A healthy Percy Harvin has made little difference to the offense. He's got what, 133 receiving yards this year? Not enough impact for his cost.
Fact #6 - The stupid penalties are hurting this team, Okung's false starts in particular.
Fact #7 - The refs ain't doin' us any favors.
Please feel free to refute these things I see as facts. Can it be turned around? Of course. But I'm starting to seriously wonder about a Super Bowl hangover.......
