ProFootballTalk had a 15 minute segment from Centurylink today. First thing Florio said was that this was the first time he's been in Seattle in 20 years.

Just goes to show how far off the beaten path we are, even after being as dominant as we've been since 2002.

I would still bet a $20 that Sal Paolantonio from ESPN has never set foot west of the Mississippi river. So obviously there are still many "important" media people that have ignored this major NFL market.

Here's his enthusiastic post about coming to Seattle.

Which means that I had to muster the nerve, fueled by something strong enough to power a jet engine, to walk into a plane (actually, two of them) and to make the long trek west from West Virginia.

Is he scared of flying? That'd explain his historical reluctance to come here.

What a lazy arrogant douchbag.

Yes, there are teams in the NFL that you cover that you should get off your ass and actually cover.

Lazy, lazy., lazy.

He writes very little, NBC has a staff of writers and team cover guys that submit stories that he simply adds tag lines to, he will do interviews and or set them up to be telecast thru his feeds. He did get his site rolling but he is very little about the content depth, just the hook.
