I am not a stats guy, but for those of you who are, I think it would be interesting to see just how Seattle compares against teams average offensive and defensive performance. For example. If the Panthers gave up on average 250 yards a game and 17 points, and gained 300 yards and 20 points, what percentage better or worse did we do on average against that team, and how much better do we do on avereage against teams overall throughout the season. IS this making sense?

100 Seahawks cool points to whoever can figure this out for me.

Thanks!

Just go to ESPN and click on NFL stats to find the avg yds per game of each team we played. Jot it down. Go to Seattles page, look up schedule. Get the Box score of each game and jot down how we did. Same for points. Go to standings to get each teams total points scored and divide by games played to get that average.

and there you go. Don't need to be a stats guy to do it. Just need to have an hour free.
