I think it's that some people want players to say what they can feel just so they can rip athletes. Too many people watch sports to feel superior to the athletes.

I am a big believer in the "Everything happens for a reason" paradigm. This interview happened to create a national dialogue which forces us to re-examine our thoughts on everything from racism to hypocrisy.

To top it all off, Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks are being talked about non-stop nationally.

Like the old song says "we love dirty laundry".
The media will always find a way to give it to us, and they don't care who gets trampled in the process. The quote above is spot on, IMHO.

The Sound FX showed me Sherman's true colors. He was shaking hands with players, wishing Bowman well, and being a good sport.

The interview was nothing but sheer emotion and adrenaline IMMEDIATELY after the game.

Anyone who says he was being classless isn't giving Richard a fair chance.
