Seahawks still have a pretty solid chance of going 15-1 without ever fielding the best players on its depth chart in any single game this season.
I mean if we had last years health... and I did the body count for 2013 where at 20 players have at least missed a game due to injury or suspension, Thurmond will make 21. Counting McCoy and Scruggs makes 23 players altogether.
And that's not counting Toomer, Simon, Williams, Fenner, Boatwright, and another player who have yet to take a single snap for the Seahawks.
Altogether 61 players have been on the roster this season at one point another.
With Browner and Thurmond being suspended will push that number to 63.
If my body counts are correct:
In 2010, 68 players suited up. Seahawks finished 7-9 after starting 4-2.
2011, it was 69. Seahawks finished 7-9 after starting 2-6.
2012, it was only 58 players. Seahawks finished 11-5 after starting 4-4.
In 2013, Seahawks are 10-1 with almost 63 players becoming Seahawks.
Seahawks are doing something pretty significant so far in 2013 and stand alone as the best team in the league and its amazing they been able hold the fort despite the adversity they've been dealt.
Even if you feel you have to hate some of these players, deserved or not, cherish this team... Seahawks might not have another quite like it.
