Can I now safely ask what reasons any may have for not liking this deal?

$30M guaranteed too. That's the figure that means more.

This news was not good just saw it as well. I expected about $30 million guaranteed but the $65 million is about $10 more than I think anyone wanted out there

Now Percy was not a free agent and it should count for something that we gave up picks......but probably doesn't in his mind

Giving up picks doesn't and shouldn't mean anything to Harvin and his agent. The draft pick compensation mattered only to the Vikings.

Scary part is 10-12 million is like 4 million or so less a year than Harvin wants.

Everything I've read said that part of the trade was contingent upon getting Harvin a new contract, meaning if it's out there as a done deal, then he has that contract, or the framework of it.

Well I disagree based on the fact that he was under contract. He could have played under that contract or sat out either way we will pay more for that year than he was going to get paid............

Wallace was free to go anywhere no obligations

I'm liking this trade a little more today than I did yesterday - one of the things I like is Harvin's versatility can save you a roster spot on special teams and RB that you can use elsewhere. You can keep one less RB and don't need a kickoff returner specialist like we had for Leon, and use those spots for an extra D-lineman or 3rd string QB to develop.

Just heard that the Seahawks have a press conference scheduled for 3pm today to talk about the Harvin trade. Hopefully we'll get more details then

It's a done deal! Now we can start thinking about the fun stuff in the future, no use worrying about how much we paid to get him now.

okay.

Since he's a seahawk officially. Anyone wanna guess what jersey number he's gonna be wearing for the Hawks? Obviously it's not gonna be #12. I can see him wearing #16,#82,#11 (i know chop chop has this number) and #10(butlers number as of right now)
