I like Dan Patrick as an interviewer. Generally, he keeps his questions short and concise and then keeps quiet while they answer. His longer questions are more conversational. So many sports interviewers start asking a question that start at one place and ramble around and end up some place else entirely. Often the questions end up being longer than the answer. I worked for a long time shooting sports and it used to drive me nuts when the reporter would ask endless rambling questions. That was a great and varied interview with Carrol.
