My wife and I finally get to go to our first home game against the niners! I purchased tickets in section 342. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips while at the game.

Don't sit in front of 49ers fans, when they watch their team they may be made sick of what they see and you don't want to be downstream.

Seriously, get there early enough to take in the whole experience, walk around the Stadium and exhibition center watch the practice and warm ups before things get busy, find the bathrooms close to your aisle and seats all that.

Not a hawks tip but any event tip. When in beer line, buy yourself two. The line for the pisser does tend to get pretty long during the breaks in the action. So plan accordingly....

Make it in on time.

1.) sure you know this but make sure you have the clear bags to bring stuff in because they won't let you bring in anything else

2.) Be prepared to empty them when you're in line so pack them accordingly

3.) If you wanna drink booze get some pocket shots because nobody should have to pay 10 dollars for crappy beer

4.) You can bring food into the stadium from outside; just make sure it's in a clear plastic bag

5.) You can bring your own bottled water into the stadium as long as it's in a factory sealed bottle.

6.) The stadium opens 3 hours before the game and this is probably the best time to hit up the pro shop before it gets packed

7.) For pre-game beer/wine, pyramid across from safeco has an outside beer garden that isn't too packed. if you get here early enough you can get a buzzer, chill in the beer garden, and then get some food.

8.) As someone said, get to your seats like an hour before kickoff at least and bring some binoculars, you can check out the players and coaches practice pre-game and it's pretty cool if you've never been to a game before to just watch the process

9.) Drink lots of water the day before and tea the morning of the game, to make sure them vocal chords are hydrated and ready to yell for 3+ hours

10.) If you drink coke or anything, bring your own 20 oz bottle cap; they usually take them when you buy them because they are worried about them being thrown or people slipping on them.

11.) Yell loudly

12.) Don't yell loudly when we are on offense, no matter how many "new" fans decide they want to cheer or chant "WILSON!" when the offensive huddle is trying to communicate. AKA don't be a 49er fan.

13.) Stay tuned for the "City Comparison" on the big screen

$10 for crappy beer?
They have Georgetwon Lucille IPA for $10 and it's wonderful.
Now I agree about price, as a Growler (5 beers) is $8 at their brewery.

Be loud and prepare to leave the stadium with no voice and sore hands from clapping.
