I thought this would be an interesting topic to see just how wild some expectations are from fellow Seahawk homers. What are your bold predictions for the Seahawks (or individual players on the team) for the upcoming season? It should be fun to see how outlandish the fan base can get.

My Bold Prediction: The Seahawks will finish 1st statistically in the league on offense AND defense this year!!! :irishdrinkers:

Was really tempted to put 23-0 record. I look forward to seeing others predictionsc GO HAWKS!!!

My "boldest" prediction is Ciara announces she's pregnant before the playoff run!!! I have another prediction that as soon as Little Russell pops out the next announcement is divorce! LOL, but really some old school fans will remember Shaun Alexander and his police escort when his baby was born, Wilson would probably get a private chopper ride! Anyway the excitement is high with the signings of Pete and John and I've got to believe the players are pumped too, so besides "little Russ" I'm predicting WINS!!! Go Hawks!! Let's get this season started!!!

I also predict Browner to have many penalties but I really believe he'll be back to his previous form and help this defense!

Pete goes back to being cute and experimenting during the first half of the season, loses a couple winnable games, then goes on to lead the team to another Super Bowl victory.

Paul Richardson doesn't finish the season.

Tyler Lockett will lead the team in TD's scored
Jeremy Lane will lead the team in interceptions
Frank Clark will get 10 sacks or more
Our leading rusher will be Alex Collins
We will have the same home and road record at 6-2
We will win the division and finish 2nd in the NFC
We will host Arizona in the NFC Championship game
We will beat the Oakland Raiders in the Superbowl :p

We'll be the most penalized team in NFL history.
Those penalties will cost us three games, to put our record at 13-3, good enough for the #1 seed.
We'll ride the #1 seed to another Super Bowl victory.
Russell Wilson wins OPOY. I would say MVP, but the MVP hasn't won the Super Bowl since 1999.

Frank Clark leads the NFL in sacks.

Jimmy Graham catches less than 20 balls.

The team plays 10 games or more without half of the LOB . . . and doesn't miss a beat. Tye Smith and Tyvis Powell emerge as stars.

Paul Richardson will finish the year with more catches than Jermaine Kearse.

Alex Collins won't get a ton of carries, but will lead the team in rushing TDs. He will play the TJ Duckett role in Seattle's reincarnation of the DVD offense (Dunn, Vick, Duckett).

Despite the hype for Seattle's passing game, it's their running game that will set records. It will be the highest team rushing total in franchise history and register among the five most prolific rushing seasons in NFL history.

Tharold Simon is in a contract year and will play like it.

The 2016 Seahawks will be the first in franchise history to start a season 5-0.

Our offensive line will improve its results, even with lesser talent on paper. Seattle will scheme around the OL all season and it will help make the line look a lot better than it really is.

Despite all this, I don't see Seattle even making it to the SB this year in my crystal ball. At some point in the playoffs, they will play in a bad weather game, possibly on the road, or face a team that is more physical in obvious run situations than they are. I think Seattle in 2016 will feel a bit like the Panthers in 2015 or the Cowboys in 2014. A kickass regular season team that runs out of gas in the postseason. Even the best team in the NFL every year only has statistically about a 20% chance of winning it all. Even the 2013 team had to catch some breaks on the road to a championship, this team will be no different.

Both the offensive and defense finish the season + playoffs + Super Bowl as the statistical best of all times by every reasonable measurement.

We will cover opponent TEs this year, but struggle with WRs as age catches up with the LOB.

Ciara gets pregnant with a due date right around the Super Bowl (we are in the Super Bowl). The weeks leading upto it are fraught with anticipation with when she will deliver and if Russ would miss the game for the delivery. Ciara goes into delivery late Saturday night and of course Russ being the family man that he is charters a plane to see his son born. With next to no sleep under his belt Saturday night he charters a plane back to Houston Sunday morning (btw, I live in Houston so I'm at the game), arriving with only 90 minutes left before kick off. Exhausted but high off of adrenaline from seeing his son born and the rabid Seahawks heavy crowd, Russ proceeds to have one of the best Super Bowls in history passing for 375 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs, clearly winning MVP and leading the Seahawks to 38-17 victory over the Steelers, finally exorcising the demon that is Super Bowl 40.

Bold prediction for the 2017 season, we win Super Bowl 52 over the Patriots, exorcising that demon. I'm not sure how it will happen yet. Give me a year and I'll figure it out.

Luck will throw for 3000 yards have 25 tds and 15 picks and a broken neck

People will still pick Luck as their franchise QB.

Russ' first six games won't be pretty passing, but he'll finish the year with 3800 yards, 32 TDs, 800 rushing and 6TDs

Rawls will be OPOY
RW will be MVP and The Super Bowl MVP.

Simon will stay healthy, grab 9 INTS, get a FAT contract with the 'Skins, suck for a year, get cut, then come back cheap.
