Romo fumbling the hold in 2007....

Fail Mary in RW's rookie year vs GB.....

NFCCG last year against GB where we came from way behind.....

Illegal batting vs Detroit.....

And now Blair Walsh this year.....

If you guys don't know, NFL fans call us the luckiest sports team ever. Ask any 49er fan and they will cry for an hour about how we are the luckiest team ever. I will side with them. Nothing wrong with being lucky though :D

No way. The big, well managed teams make their own luck.

It was the same with my soccer team with our old manager, did it for years.

Hell i think the Russell Wilson snap over his head was luckier than the fg.

Without that play we don't score. No way. We just had no business leading that game. But we took it. Unbelievable.

We can make a list equally as long (if not longer) on the other side of the equation as well, so it all evens out :D

It's just karma making up for decades of terrible franchise luck. Tony Dorsett, Nate Odomes, Ken Behring, Testeverde helmet TD, SB XL, etc.
Things are evening out.

The pit
XL* alone MORE than balances all of the above listed out, when we win a Lombardi because of piss poor, inept, or rigged officiating, then you'll be spot on.

And the harder they work and play, the luckier they get. ;)

John Ryan running into guys instead of around them wasn't lucky. That guy dropping an int was though.

Awesome point. But to us it still wasn't surprising

For being so lucky how did that help us on the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl last year?

Paranormal activity on our side.

Rest of NFL is totally freaked out.

What is not to like?

That was our one downfall for our luck. The one time when we needed luck, it went against us. Other than last years SB, we have been very lucky.

But like we are all saying, I ain't apologizing for nothing. Nothing wrong with being lucky. If anything, it's a good thing.

We just keep every game close so these plays usually have a big outcome in our games. We have played no blowouts against for like 5 years so we win a bunch of close games. This is just a product of that.

There's not an NFL team that has ever played in the history of the game that didn't require some measurement of luck to win a football game.

This is a franchise that has only won 2 more regular season games then it has lost (315-313). We've had our share of bad luck over the years...

Why can't some Hawk fans just admit we are lucky. There is nothing wrong with it.

Missing a point blank 20 yard field goal is luck.

Last year vs GB had a lot to do with luck.

Sure we control a lot of these outcomes, but without lady luck, we lose most of those games I listed.

As a longtime Seattle fan, I can recognize luck, because most of the times our teams were on the otherside of this conversation.
