still in shock why our defense can't and hasn't been in the games when the 4th qtr is still part of the game. A defense that has had minimal player changes... a defense where your key cogs are still the same. I want to know why all the disconnect in the LOB.

Just really at a loss.

Disappointed, but not pissed. I think this game finally brought me back to reality with this team. The rose-colored glasses are off. At this point, we are what our record says we are. Doesn't mean they can't turn things around - still have a lot of talent - but expectations are back here on earth rather than up in the stars.

The result of me not having any one around to talk hawks.

Most of my coworkers aren't big sports people.

I had a coach who told us before a game, go look at your dick, after the game do the same thing. Win, lose, or draw, it's gonna be the same size.

That was true when I first heard it 50+ years ago, and it's just as true today.

I'm already looking forward to Thursday. That's when our Hawks play again right? I'm disappointed. But that's life and the next fix comes Thursday. I already know, and always have known, that we won't always be world beaters and we won't always suck. Keep the faith, love our guys and enjoy the ride.

On the outside the Rocket is calm and composed and on an Animal House video search sipping my tea.
Inside, however, I'm eating live bunnies with my bare teeth.

They played there hearts out Todd. Its been going our way for two years now, I knew sooner or later we'd have thing go the other way. We got San Fran on thursday, should be a great game.

First time I've been pissed off after a loss this season. Maybe because I see my team not only letting the season slip away but my fear is that we're headed back to the mediocrity I had come to know for far too long.
