A truth is: death is part of living as much as birth is. Each of us have lost a grandparent and our lives are less full as a result.
This will give Doug a focus to dedicate his season to this year. Normally though he's motivated enough with the 'pedestrian WR' comments from the uninformed.
For me all I hope is that his stupid end zone demonstrations end for Doug and he acts in the careful and intelligent way he normally does going forward. He's a genuinely nice person, easy to talk with, and very bright. There is for me little doubt his Stanford education has served him well. I'm happy he's a Seahawks player and key part of the team.
