I don't see how the NFL can fine him with everything going on. He was just making sure they weren't deflated

I hope you're wrong, but honestly couldn't fault him if he wanted to be done with this. I'm sick of it and I'm not paying.
Serious questions, where the heck is the NFLPA on this? These guys file lawsuits and stand up for people like Ray Rice and Aldon Smith that are actually convicted of crimes, why are they not IRATE about the NFL just whimsically escalating fines? I know there are contractual obligations Lynch has to speak, and if he doesn't fulfill them he gets a fine, but for the NFL to have the ability to raise fines as they please, I can't imagine they'd stand for that.
I have a theory this goes one of two ways, and neither is good for the NFL:
1) They bully Marshawn out of the league, and suddenly everyone realize just how damn crazy the NFL is that they essentially forced one of the best players in the league out over not talking. But they let Ray Rice, AP, Aldon Smith, etc, back in after documented criminal offenses. How do they recover from that? And how do you claim to be a proponent of competition when you force out the top offensive player on a Super Bowl team in a move that CLEARLY affects the team's ability to compete
2) They bully Marshawn, who suddenly gets the NFLPA, gets some lawyers, and gets his act together and takes legal action. Obviously there are contractual things I know nothing of, but it could at least force a complete overhaul of the NFL punishment system and a complete exposure of their utterly hypocritical and nonsensical method of punishments

$8,268.00 for leg whip (Player Safety)
$22,050.00 for helmet to helmet and hit to an defenseless player (Player Safety)
Marshawn Lynch:
$11,050 Excessive celebration (inappropriate gesture) against Arizona (Nothing to do with Player Safety)
$20,000 Excessive celebration (inappropriate gesture) against Green Bay (Nothing to do with Player Safety)
$100,000 Personal Conduct for not talking to the media. (Nothing to do with Player Safety)
No rhyme or reason with Goodells rationalization.
