Nice article. I've posted over at the PatsFans Forum before. Sure, they have their few trolls (like we have ours), but let me tell you, in general I thought that those guys were awesome. There are a bunch of really cool, very knowledgeable football posters over on that site. Very classy site overall.

Very respectful piece. This is indeed going to feature one of the finest coaching matchups in SB history.

I have no doubt Pete would love to beat the Patriots because it would give that victory a little extra juice after the fact. Heck, Pete actually is still on quite good terms with both Kraft and Belichick, and he loves nothing more than beating his friends.

At the same time, he is not going to change his preparation or the team's just because they're playing New England. That would be counter to everything he espouses. No game, not even the Super Bowl, should be placed above another when preparing because therein lies the path to complacency later. And complacency is exactly what Pete wants to avoid.
