Do you guys have any recommendations for the best place to watch? Is it usually a ticketed event, so no fighting for a spot?

Thanks

Gee, thanks.

Actually, I was hoping for a little more than that.

Wasn't trying to be a Richard Cranium, but if I wasn't going to a family member's house, or watching it at home, I'd hit a bar or local casino.

No worries.

It looks like Spitfire was rated as the best place to watch last year by USA Today. I have sent them an email to see if they will be having a ticketed party. I do not want to drive 750 miles to watch a game while surrounded by Seahawk fans, only to find that I do not have a spot and end up watching it at Best Buy.

I want an event.

Did they have a gathering at Centurylink or Safeco last year? Safeco would be a great place, because of the ginormous main screen, and the main bar area has a billion little screens.

Even if not, it might be cool to start near the stadiums , then start walking north into the city and find the first place with some standing room.

That would be awesome if they had it in Safeco or Wamu theater

I'd wait til after the Championship game and see who's going to put on big hosting parties.

I'm sure there will be a ton of bars, sports venues, casinos, etc putting on hosting parties. But that wouldn't be announced til next week.

IMO if we get there, you wanna be close to downtown because if we win you can roll out and celebrate with the unwashed masses.

Emerald Queen Casino has a viewing party but it kind of sucks with the low ceiling and obstructed viewing by the huge pillars... Great American Casino in Tacoma has a an awesome viewing room

Probably the pubs near the stadium, although I admittedly have never been to any other than Henry's. Hawk blogger says he likes to watch games at Fuel
